The
Pumpkin Pasties didn't turn out very well. They taste good, but they look silly. I can't get the edges to stay crimped together - when they puff in the oven they come apart so it looks like open clam shells. I'm going to take the least bad looking ones to work with me anyway. I would keep trying, but I am hot and tired and puff paste is not easy to work with. I should have used pie crust. I took the remainder of the filling (which was quite a lot - I used 2 cans of pumpkin) and added eggs and cream and I'm making custard with it.
Mmmmm custard!
