Happy HBP Release Day Eve
I guess it's the Eve.
I am kind of a mess today. I got maybe an hour or two sleep last night. I admit that I'm a silly kid and that it was excitement over my new book, mainly. But also I have an ongoing war with my pillows. I have 6 pillows on my bed. Occasionally I win a battle and they end up in the perfect positions for me to feel all snuggled up and comfy. Most of the time the pillows let me use one or two of their number and otherwise remain in neutral positions. But sometimes the pillows attack me and last night was one of those nights. Not only that, but I have some books and papers on my bed, and the pillows recruited them to attack me, as well. And then mini!Clark and mini!Lex joined in. So between that and all the excitement, there was not much sleeping going on.
Everyone seems to be enjoying the Pumpkin Pasties.
This is probably the last anyone will hear from me until Sunday, when I've finished the book. peach1250 and I are going to go hang out this afternoon, have a nice lunch and gossip and vent at each other, try to find her Lex Luthor Man of Steel No. 3, and then she is going to keep me company for a while at Borders. I'm going to mostly avoid LJ because I am worried that the creep who posted spoilers in communities will start doing it in comments to peoples' journals or something. I am probably the least spoiled person any of you know and I want it to stay that way until midnight. And then after midnight I'll be either sleeping or reading.
