It turns out my car's coolant leak has not actually been fixed after all. so the problem evidently wasn't with the clapm that the mechanics fixed for me - or, it was only part of the problem. I managed about six days before the light came on, so I've topped up with water and am now waiting on Dad's verdict as to what to do with the car. And ( Read more... )

So, it's been a rather busy week for me - which is probably a normal week by anyone else's standards. I only worked twice, but the results of our HSC (end-of-school exams) were released on Wednesday, and on Thursday our ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank - needed to get into most uni courses) were released as well.

EXAMS ARE OVER!
I'VE SIGNED OUT OF SCHOOL!
I AM OFFICIALLY AN UNEMPLOYED BUM!

Okay, so maybe the last bit's not that great...but I'm done!!!

I'm going to miss school...

...I gave in. I admit it. I bowed to peer pressure.

I got a Facebook. And I'm so over the constant emails, and I only got it yesterday (terrible and abuse, I know). Waah!

All complaining aside, I only have one more exam. And it's Legal. Yay Legal. And then on Thursday I can sign out of school and officially be finished high school. I can't wait!

We had fireworks tonight! *is happy* But there was a tree that blocked the view. Rrgh.

Also, I went swimming/floating in a reservoir today. To celebrate the end of high school English for ever. Because that is so totally worth celebrating XD

What sort of imaginative writing piece inspiration is 'Human beings, like plants, can only grow in the soil of acceptance, not the atmosphere of rejection'? Because I seriously had to try and write a story based off that. The worst thing is, I think I wrote a decent story, but I'm never going to see it again. I don't feel special. Actually, I don't know why I would feel special. Perhaps because I made a decision. Yes, I hate making decisions.
