Last night we got several inches of snow, but I looked out my window and saw my parking lot had been cleared. If our lot is clear, the roads out there are usually good too. Tonight I was driving down a multi-lane highway in the left lane.  A light rain was falling, and my driver's-side windshield wiper was making a loud screetching sound.  This has happened to me before.  The wiper blade was coming loose, and I just needed to pull over and readjust the blade.  I resolved to find an exit with a gas station.

This past Tuesday, I drove to Columbus to attend a hockey game with schneenet .  Several years ago, schneenet  began a quest to see a Boston Bruin's game in every single "away" venue.  The Columbus Blue Jackets were Game #17 on her quest.

Wow, my whirlwind tour is all finished now.  In Madison, we packed more activity into two days than I thought possible.  We hit our favorite restaurants in town, hiked on dangerous-looking rocks, ran around in a laser-tag game, and visited with people that I haven't seen in quite a while.  I also shoulder-rolled down a hill on campus a few times ( Read more... )
