It's April!
April is a good month because there are so many good things to look foward to.
There's Game of Thrones! Debuting 15th April~ I'm looking forward to see what happens. Whose turn is it to die, and who will eventually land on the throne~ I'm a huge fan of Jon and Dany couple, but I think it would be really interesting if the throne lands in anyone else's lap instead.

Pokemon Go
SafariZone Sentosa next weekend! This is the first Pokemon Go event in Singapore.
Colleagues E, AT and I applied for tickets together, but we didn't get it. mayu applied for her account and 彼‘s account, which is kind of like my alternate account since he can't play while he is away for work... and somewhat we got the tickets lol. AT also applied for her alternate account and got it, we'll still go for it next Friday (Singapore Public holiday for Good Friday). We're still not sure how the rules work -whether we can use the qr code that will be sent to us, on our main accounts instead of the alternate account. But I guess we'll find out on the day!
My current phone contract ends on 23rd April, so I'm really looking forward to get a new contract with more data, and a new phone, specifically Samsung S10. My first smartphone was a iPhone 4 (used for 3-4 years before I switched to Samsung Note 4, and I couldn't bring myself back to iOS after experiencing the wonders of Android. My current S8 is about 2 years and still working (though it mysteriously died on me when we were on our honeymoon in korea...hmm) In any case I'm looking forward to getting a new phone so I can play my games on 2 phones.
April is also 彼‘s birthday! He's still thinking about what present he wants, but it would likely be a smartwatch!
Originally we thought his contract would end in April and we could arrange a trip to HK or Bangkok or somewhere near as his birthday celebration, but his contract got extended, so we aren't too sure when he might get to get off the ship. Possibly maybe June or July. And now I'm super tempted to plan a trip to Japan instead, because my parents just came from a holiday trip to Okinawa, mayu just came back from a business+holiday trip to Kagoshima, Tottori and Okayama, Colleagues E and AT just came back from holiday in Tokyo + Yokohama.. and I was spammed with photos of lovely Japan from them. I had plans to do a 2 weeks trip traveling from Tokyo to Tohoku to Sapporo next year GW, but now I'm thinking perhaps I should split the trip into 2, and go to Hokkaido this July if 彼's contract ends then, and we can do a drive around Hokkaido covering the north (Wakkanai) and east (Nemuro, shiretoko)... We'll see how it goes!
Date with YW
I met up with YW for brunch today. I haven't seen her since my wedding and I really wanted to give her a good treat for being such a wonderful bridesmaid that day and also to catch up with her.
We met up for brunch at
Wild Honey. The food and the service were really good. Thankfully we made reservations because the place was just full all the time with a queue at almost all times.
Atfter that we walked around and passed by Muji, where saw that they were having a special one-month workshop where they invited craftsmen in Singapore to set up workshops in the shop on handcrafts. We decided to try out the session. It was $15 for a arigatou-kit where the very lovely Ms. Chien taught us to make a keyholder using leftover leather from her bigger projects. The smell of leather was awesome, and we had a very fun time chatting with her, learning that she started out as a fashion designer and went to Kyoto for a year to study and learn leatherwork. We also shared with her our experience in Japan and encouraged her to visit Kanazawa and Kurashiki where there are alot of craftswork that she might be interested in. She was very patient and we got our keyholders done in about 20min (most of the time was spent chatting lol). It's really lovely and I'm giving it to 彼!
We continued walking around nd ended up for tea at Nana's Green Tea where we ordered a green tea warabimochi parfait and a hojicha shiratama parfait to share.. and continued chatting all the way till when we realized it was already 6:30pm... lol I love my friends like her, K, Ros, MX.. We don't get to meet up often and dont msg each other regularly because we're in different countries, have different commitments etc, but every time we meet in like once every few months, we just have so much to catch up and laugh about.
After leaving Nana's Green Tea, I came across this shop selling this lovely pair of flats and just fell head over heels for it. lol I know mayu and 彼 doesn't appreciate the colors, but I simply LOVE it, it was so comfortable and I had been looking for a pair of flats for work for a while, so I'm definitey wearing it as my work shoes.
Dinner with Colleagues at Hamburg Steak Keisuke
Went for dinner with (ex) colleagues at
Hamburg Steak Keisuke. It was my first time there, the place was crowded and we queued for an hour before getting into the restuarant. It was totally worth the queue. The food was absolutely awesome. There was a free-flow salad bar with fresh vegetables, radish and tamagoyaki and their own house sauces. I ordered their Hamburg Steak Set and it was so juicy and meaty, simply a wonder with the koshihikari rice. Also tried their sakura cola which was sweet and nice. I would definitely want to go there again with 彼.
Dear Yuki
Dear Yuki was really clingy and loveydovey over the last 2 weeks when mayu and my parents were away for their respective holidays. She was having her period, which made her extra clingy, but very sweet and quite bit of a change from her usual naughty self. It was nice to have her all to myself, except she was staining all over my clothes. We didn't get diapers/pet panties for her because we're preparing to spay her after her 2nd period (which is this time) so our family helper and I spent quite a bit of time mopping the floor. It wasn't alot of blood though so we let her be.
Moogle!!
Colleagues E and AT went for FFXIV Fanfest and bought me the primal Moogle holding a guitar and in The Primal clothes!! XD
New eateries in the office building
Our office building is undergoing a huge renovation and there are alot more food choices now. We're trying to check them out but they've been so crowded. We managed to go to one cafe/bar/grill. The food is abit pricey but really good, so we'll probably go again in the future.
