Happy New Year to All!

Mayu dressed up Akatsuki for the new year XD

Counting down 41 Days
I'm at the airport typing out this entry, waiting for my flight back to Japan... I'm reluctant and sad to go because this 6 days have been so awesomely good. Staying positive but knowing that I only have 41 days left in Japan and I will still get to do a few more snowboard trips, but rather snowboarding feels more like a bonus than a pull factor.

The good thing is, mom and I were talking this morning and we agreed that I have achieved what I set out to do in Japan
1) I got my training and am now a senior game planner + coordinator
2) I managed to save up significantly in this 2 years (though I'm not sure if I could have saved up more if I were in Singapore)
3) I managed to get tired and sick of Japan and stop my yearning to live in Japan. Travel yes, live+work no.

Shall make the best of the next 1.5 months and look forward to getting home and going for my Pre-Wedding Photo shoot with 彼 in March.

New Year Eve Countdown
Mayu invited me to join her and her colleague at MBS CUT for countdown. We arrived early and decided to check out the Prudential Carnival next to MBS. It's huge and a hit because we havent had a carnival in Singapore for a long time. It was raining lightly but still pretty crowded. We didn't play but just walked around.

Most popular and exciting ride. Mayu and 彼 loves this kind of rides, so maybe in February we can come again as a group.

Rollercoaster

Game stalls

Vikings.

After that we headed to CUT in MBS. It was a pain trying to get in because for crowd control, the security decided to close off most of the doors except for 1. Not like there were any security check at that one door though... Questionable what they were doing..

Potato with carvier. Very nice~

The cocktail was awesome.

Moment of 2018. Fireworks burst out above us for about 6 min. It was raining lightly so it was good to be indoors but still able to enjoy the view

Good Food in Singapore!

For New Year, we had Kor's family and cousin's family over for dinner~. Pizza, sushi, home-cooked pasta, roast duck!~

With the leftover roast duck, the next day mom made yam with roast duck. Definitely one of my favorite dish~ And I miss all this stir-fry greeneries that I don't get much in Singapore because it is troublesome to cook for one.S

Steam egg, Japaneses scallop and simple stir-fry beef with carrot.

My beloved Koi.

Farewell dinner with family last night.

Met up with Hime at the NYP where she was teaching. She brought me to a student restaurant. The food was awesome!

Also met up with Immy with my parents for Dim Sum Breakfast!

lol The only hawker food I managed to eat this time (was eating at home most of the days) was my fish soup bee hoon. I miss it though XD
