Counting down 27 days! And I will be home to 彼! 彼 will likely get home be home around the end of this month and get to enjoy maybe 1-2 weeks before I return home~ I'm so looking forward to it and kinda lacking motivation to work because there are just about 20 work days left.. At the same time, can the people at the top quickly decide whether I'm bringing my tasks back, or not?
Snowboarding @ Togari Onsen
Went snowboarding with mayuko at Togari Onsen on 7th and 8th Jan! The snow was really really awesome!
[Togari Onsen 2D1N trip!]Togari Onsen 2D1N trip! We departed around 7:20am and reached only around 1pm. That is how far it was and probably why it was pretty cheap.
At one of the rest stops, they were selling this pudding in a mayonaisse bottle!
Finally reached Togari Onsen Ski Resort! Our accomodation is just a few minutes walk from the gelande.
Our accomodation, even though it was called ryokan it was really more like minshuku. Most of the people staying were university boys.
We were starving after a long bus ride. Checked-in, got mayuko's rental stuff, and headed straight to the ski resort's canteen for lunch. The area is famous for sauce katsu don. Sooo good.
At practice slope for mayuko to warm up as it has been years since she last skied.Weather was still pretty good at this point.
It started snowing! Which is great also because we get fresh powder, but visibility was low.
We snowboarded (she skied) until around 4:30pm and den headed back to our minshuku. Dinner was in their canteen which was really cute and family like. They gave us the kotatsu seat!
Very simple dinner, but delicious and filling!
After that we heade to the nearby onsen for a good warm soak!
The view of the gelande at night while walking back to the minshuku from the onsen.
After that is back to the room to chill with snacks.
Day 2! Again, simple but very filling breakfast.
Weather is better today and the morning snow from the all night snowfall was awesome.
We went further up to access the other slopes.
Wonderful view. Right opposite is actually another ski resort, X-Jam.
Last run of the day.
We stopped before 2pm and went for lunch. Katsu Curry! Couldn't finish because the portion was huge.
We thought of going onsen before catching our bus at 3.30pm but apparently everyone thought the same so the onsen was super crowded, so we skipped that and headed to a nearby cafe to chill~~
Shipping company The shipping company came to take an estimate of the stuff that I am planning to ship home. Our company pays for 4m cube of shipping and 30kg of air freight... Based on the current estimation, my stuff would actually take up about 3.6m cube.. ;x I guess the bulky stuff really takes up quite abit of space since I'm bringing home my kotatsu, a bunch of cushions and softtoys from UFO catchers, a full-length mirror, an ironing board, a futon set and a couple drawer sets from Nitori...
彼 and I have been busy playing Lords Mobile on our smartphones. I never thought I would one day play this kind of Clash of Clans type of games since I tend to get upset if I get attacked and am not the type to go around attacking as well, which is the point of this genre, but I ended up enjoying it alot more than I expected. lol So what started out as an attempt to get Line Points (via TapJoy), end up as a massive addiction to the game.
We switched a few guilds, joined some really weak ones, joined militaristic ones until now we're in a very strong yet family and friendly guild whose company we really enjoy. Thus We'll probably be sticking around for a while more.
On a separate note, Dissidia FF Opera Omnia is finally releasing its Global version!
