[Chaptered] I Do...Not! *Chapter 1*

CHAPTER 1
Jin joined his friends at the hotel pool, sitting on one of the comfy poolside chairs. Yamapi is beside him, obviously lost in his own world as he talks on the phone.
“I know, baby.”
“I’ll be back before you knew it.”
“I miss you too.”
“I wish you’re with me, you know.”
Jin rolled his eyes and put on his IPod on full volume so that he won’t hear him anymore. He searched for Ryo and he saw him on the bar, picking up some blonde girls. He doesn’t even know how to speak English, yet he got himself three hot blonde chicks. He shakes his head and focused his attention on Yuu and his girlfriend. They are playing like little dorks on the pool, Kids. He put on his sunglasses and closed his eyes. He still can’t get his mind off what happened earlier in the lobby, he knows that it’s been five years already since they broke up, they both had their own shot of romance since then, especially him who had countless girlfriends after her. But something about Takako makes his heart beat so fast, after all, their five years together is no joke.
*FLASHBACK* *2005*
“I can’t believe you’re doing this!” Jin screamed at the top of his lungs, loud enough to make his car shake with his voice.
“This is what’s best for us, Jin.” Takako said, her voice is small, husky from crying.
“This is not what’s best for us! It’s what’s best for our f*cking agencies!”
“I’ve decided...” she whispered, looking down so that her heart won’t break seeing his reaction.
Jin looked at her, tears are streaming down her face, he took a deep breath and moved closer to her. He’s about to pull her in for a hug but she brushed his arms off.
“This is not what you wanted, you’re just being a puppet to them. Following all their orders like they are some kind of masters and you’re the slave.” He said, his voice is calmer this time.
“I owe everything to them...” that’s all she can say.
“Bullsh*t!” he’s enraged again. “You’re being blind, Takako! They are controlling your life and you’re just letting them do it!”
“They agreed for us to keep this relationship, but we made a deal with them that when this came out to the media we will suffer the consequence.”
Jin shakes his head, “Your career is more...important than... I am?” he trailed as he speaks.
More tears fall from her eyes upon hearing his words, he’s important to her. But her career is important too. “Don’t make me choose...”
“YOU ALREADY CHOOSE! YOU CHOOSE YOUR CAREER THAN TO BE WITH ME!” he screamed on her face.
“I’m sorry, Jin. I’m really sorry...” she said, wiping her tears then leaving his car.
“Takako!” He screamed after her but she didn’t look back, he get out of his car to stop her from running away from him. He grabbed her hand before she can escape.
“Don’t do this.” he begged, running his warm hands on her cheeks. “Takako, please don’t do this. We can go away from here, leave everything behind. Let’s live a normal life together, without those stupid media and paparazzi, without those controlling agencies, away from all the fans attention... Be with me, Takako.”
She looked at his face, he’s trying hard not to cry, fighting for his tears to fall. “I have to go.” she lets go of her arms on his hand, “I’m sorry...” she said one last time before coming inside her car.
Jin was left unmoved from his stance, he watched her drove off until her car is nowhere to be seen. Finally, his tears started to fall, along with the raindrops that started to get bigger as he sobs harder.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
“Akanishi!” Pi disturbed his thoughts pulling his headphones from his ears.
“F*ck off, Yamashita!” he growled, touching his ears. “It hurts, damn it!”
“You’ll thank me later. You asshole!” Pi yelled at him. “That girl is looking straight at you since you sat there. You better get that ass of that chair. She’s a good catch!” Pi said, pointing to a blonde girl in her red bikini across the pool.
Jin removed his sunglasses to see her clearly, she noticed that he’s looking at her so she smiled. A small smile appears on the side of his lips, “Thank you, Yamashita!” he tapped his shoulder and gets off his seat.
“I told you, you’ll thank me!” Pi stated proudly as he watch Jin strut his way to the girl direction.

Takako is lying on the big, cosy bed of her hotel room. She left Japan knowing that she’ll be able to think and be alone in a place where she can be normal, a place where people don’t know who she is. She’s been looking forward to spend some ‘me’ time but after seeing Jin as she arrived, her plans are totally ruined.
She stood up to begin unpacking her things, she started removing all her clothes and hanged it on the closet. She took a quick shower after unpacking and now she’s bored again in the bed. She’s rolling and turning, trying hard to sleep, but either the jetlag or Jin is stopping her from dozing off.
She sat up on the bed and rests her back on the headboard, she sighed and reached for her hand bag. She let all the stuff inside fall on the bed, a small box was visible among all the things that fell. She grabbed and stared at it. She opened it and saw a ring, a ring that she declined to be put on her finger.
*FLASHBACK* *THREE WEEKS AGO*
“Marry me, Takako.” he said, offering a ring in front of her. Takako is hesitant to answer.
“You know that I’m not yet ready...” she answered. “It’s only been three months since we-”
“I know, I understand.” he interrupted her. “ You’re not yet ready for now. But I can wait. I just wanted to give you this ring.” he handed her the small box. “I will wait until you’re ready.”
*END OF FLASHBACK*
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, the whole reason for her coming to this place is to think whether or not she’ll wear this ring back to Tokyo. She’s twenty-seven, perfect age for a marriage, but she doesn’t understand what’s trying to hold her back from saying yes.
“You have a week, Takako. You better not let anyone influence your decision.” she told herself, that certain anyone only pertains to that man she saw on the lobby.

“That was great.” Jin said almost breathless as he finished round one with that blonde chick. He laid down on the bed beside the girl. “You can rest now.” he said nonchalantly, closing his eyes and yawning loudly. A few minutes later, he’s deep into sleep.
The girl shakes her head, feeling hurt after she saw him sleeping on her. She grabbed her clothes and gets dressed. She went out and slammed the door, he’s so much into his sleep to even be bothered by the noise of the closing door. Pi noticed the girl fuming out of the room, he stopped her by blocking her way.
”What’s...wrong?” He asked in English.
“You’re friend is sick! He slept on me!” She yelled angrily, Pi doesn’t understand any of the words. The girl bumps his left shoulder and headed towards the lift. Pi looked around to see her rushing off, Yuu was there from a far, his arms are crossed around his chest trying hard not to laugh.
“Akanishi is something! He fell asleep after having sex with her!” Yuu said after seeing the lost expression on Pi’s face. Pi chuckled after hearing Yuu’s translation of what the girl said.
The two hurriedly went inside Jin’s room and saw him sleeping so soundly on the bed, his snores echoed through the room.
“Damn it, Akanishi! That girl is a waste!” Pi shakes Jin’s body to wake him up.
“There’s a lot of girls here. No need to rush.” Yuu said, sitting on the fluffy one-sitter chair beside the window.
Jin rolled on the bed, it took him a few minutes before he can speak, “Damn it! I’m too sleepy to have sex.” he mumbled. “Jetlag, you know?” he said, his eyes are still closed.
“Is there such thing as too sleepy to have sex for Akanishi Jin?” Pi asked, sitting on the edge of the bed. “Ryo has advanced on you now. He’s having so much fun with those girls in his room I can even hear them from outside.” Pi grinned.
“Go get yourself a girl then, if you’re too jealous of Ryo.” Jin smiled under the pillows.
“Shut up! I’m faithful, you know.” Pi defended himself, thinking of his girlfriend back home.
“Whatever. One week without sex for you? Can you handle it?” Jin teased again, covering his face with the blanket before Pi can throw something on his face.
“And you, Shirota? What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be competing with Ryo?” Jin chuckled. “Where’s your girlfriend?”
“She’s too busy shopping...” Yuu said sadly. “Does she like shopping more than sex?” he asked innocently making Jin and Pi laugh.
“Girls like the diamonds and the material things more than our manhood. It sucks but it’s true.” Jin stated. “They like seeing LV and Tiffany’s and Chanel and so on more than their boyfriends.”
“Uwa, Jin! You’re so negative.” Pi argued. “Girls like cuddling and hugging more than sex. I think that’s more appropriate.”
Jin snorted. In his experience, it’s not true. He once offered that to a girl, but she still denied him, leaving him drenched and cold in the heavy rain. He tried to be the man he is before, after seeing her again earlier because after all, she is the only person he has truly loved, but she brushes him off again.
