cake decorating!!

So I signed up for a cake decorating class at All in One Bake Shop, and yesterday was the first class. For the first class, we learned basics - like what icing consistency, how to frost the cake (which is by far the hardest thing for me to do. smoothness escapes me...though we did go really quickly so that we could finish everything during the class -_-), how to prepare the decorating bags, and a few decorating techniques using a couple of different decorating tips. everyone got a cake to frost and decorate, and here's mine:
