No sword?

The fluffy blond gentleman over there might be able to help with that. He's got two. Granted they're both made of wood, but beggars can't be choosers, right?

They certainly catch Westley's eye. He sits up a little straighter, intrigued.

Maybe not the kind of sword he's used to, though.

Graham can fence, but he prefers kendo. His choice of practice weapon reflects this.

Number of seconds between Westley noticing Graham and Graham noticing Westley right back: one... two... three...

...four.

Friendly smile!

Westley quirks a smile back, nodding at the weapons.

"A swordsman."

It's not quite a question; he recognizes a student of the art when he sees one.

Matt, If You Don't Mind? goodheadbadhead September 12 2009, 22:15:40 UTC
"Mind if we sit here?"

There's only one man speaking, but that's a technicality. Especially when you consider who he is.

"We've been on our feet a while now."

"Is that a yes or a no, then?
"Harv, don't. It's only to be expected, really, that he wouldn't be able to cope. Most people can't.
"You're no fun, Harvey.
"Because I'm not letting you start a fight with him?
". . . yes?"

Harvey sighs, looking a bit hurt. "Sorry about that. We'll be going, the--
"No we will not. We have every right to sit here." And Harv sits down, looking rather defiant.

"I -- what -- what the fuck happened to you, man?" he manages, shakily.

Beat.

"I, um, wait, this is my booth."

To Westley: "You okay?"

There's a kind of wistful look to the guy - or so she thinks.

The moment he's addressed, the wistfulness is put on a shelf.

"Perfectly," he replies, cheerful. "Yourself?"

There's a lingering skepticism in her expression, but she gives him a smile anyway.

It's not like she knows him, so maybe he's telling the truth.

"Oh, I'm doing great, thank you."

He smiles back. "A good day, my lady?"
