But it's only the sound of it. Words through a voicebox not made for speaking, around lips and teeth not made for other than killing or eating. The actual nuance of the words is very soft and polite.

And then he takes a bite, because it would be kind of rude to just sit there. It tastes quite good.
"Bar makes good cookies, doesn't she?"

The great head tilts, musing over the thought.
"I cannot say that I have ever had any kind of these chocolate chip cookies. I have heard of them, but never tried them."

Beat.
"I can go get you some, if you want. Sir."

"They seem intriguing, for certain."
Beat.
"I think perhaps we could have a little sampling. If you tell Mme Bar that Charles ordered them, I am sure she will be most gracious in providing something."

"Okay!"
And he hops up and dashes over to the bar. After a few short minutes he returns with a little plate of chocolate chip cookies, Bar's finest.
He holds the plate out solemnly. Cookies...are serious business. "Here you go, sir."
