I managed to twist my ankle last night in the silliest of ways. I had been sitting with my left foot tucked up underneath me until it went numb, and when I got up to walk my toe caught on the carpet and my foot twisted under. I put my weight down before I'd realised what had happened, and as a result I have a rather large egg on my ankle. Oddly enough it's not that sore to walk, only if I sit for a while.
Went to see the new Avengers movie last night, and
I was a bit disappointed. Most of the fight scenes went on long enough to become boring, and I don't like it when the Avengers are fighting among themselves. I don't mind a bit of conflict but when it gets to one-on-one physical confrontation it's disturbing. A lot of shippers are going to be disappointed, too, with almost-romance between Banner and Romanov, and finding out that Clint is married with kids (and not to Coulson, which seems to be the most popular ship). There was some wit which I enjoyed, and one scene I loved was very Arthur and Sword in the Stone-ish, as the Avengers all take turns trying to lift Thor's hammer. I'd still give it three out of five just for Stark and Banner being science bros but I think it could have been so much better than it was.
