I re-scaled the pattern from 80 stitches (which fit my nine year old) to 60 (which fit the 10 month old just fine). So on to the pretty pictures.

Finally got a chance to finish one project and crank out a second quick one. The first is the fish blanket for my youngest daughter. I have been working on it off and on for a while, but finally finished crocheting it together on T-day.

Well, finally got around to knitting a bit again, and this times cranked ouot Miss thing's Baby Bib. Here it is in its little glory. I really like feather and fan patterns.

I have been so busy with baby and grad students, that I have had little time for knitting. I have been slowly chipping away at one of our graduating (or soon to be graduating) students gifts. Baby G has been doing pretty good this weekend. She has managed to remember to use both ends of her body, which is much better than lots of food in and nothing out. Well, I surcame to the temptation of Knitty. Some of the new patterns were really cute, so I had to get one started. I cast on for Quant in some of the KnitPicks Crayon cottons (purple and gold - fighting bucks colors). After two days, it is finished, and the enterlac looks ok. I finished the felted tote last night, and it really felted down nicely. I must say it feels kinda weird to make soemthing huge to shrink it to size, but it is tough and dense now. Here are the before and after felting pictures.( Pretty pictures )

I finally finished up nymph's sweater I was making. It is the first thing I have made with actual sleeves, so that made it a new challenge. The neck line is ok, but could be longer, and the arm attachment seems tight looking at it, but she says it feels great and warm. I'm glad she is happy with it, cause it was a fair bit of work.
