Baby G has been doing pretty good this weekend. She has managed to remember to use both ends of her body, which is much better than lots of food in and nothing out. That makes for a very grumpy colicky baby. But she has been burping, gassey, and pooping like a normal little trooper. We got our well-baby appointment bumped back a week, as the doctor had to be out of town on Friday. But this will actually work out to be better, since it means I can be there as opposed to the original appointment, which was scheduled during one of my classes. Other than a really bad case of grumpy yelling baby from around 1:30 to 3 in the morning last night, she has been in good spirits the last couple of days. Further on the baby note, I decided I needed to make the kiddo another hat, so she has some variety (and another Dadda hat when the first one has to go in the wash). So, on to the pictures...
Here is Lilly's Hat I found on Ravelry. I started the hat on 10.5 needles, realized it would be big enough for nymph to wear, and switched to size 7 needles after the ruffle. The pattern also said to make the height 3.25 inches before crown shaping. I did this, and the hat was way too short for Baby G, who is preemie/newborn now. So I frogged back to before the crown shaping, and made the height up to 5 inches. Much better, and it is a good fit she can grow with for a while.
And finally, a picture of the watercolor Quant I made for
clarebear99. I finished it almost a month ago, but it has taken a while to have us all in one house at on time.
