Adding frames
I wanted to cut off the extra comb and put it in another frame today, but I think it is going to have to wait until I can borrow another pair of hands. Holding the frame, cutting off the extra and catching it requires at least one more hand than I have. Now I understand why people use frame rests. I took out the feeder, and put all the deep frames towards the house side, then the double medium, and put the normal mediums on the other side. I also put two medium frames under them, in the first box. There were eggs everywhere on the new wax that the bees built. It is good to finally be able to see them. With any luck, I will soon be able to split them.
