I'm tired. We had a crazy thunderstorm last night and I never can sleep well through those. I saw that there's a short story contest I can enter via email but, naturally, I have none of my stories on my jump drive. Typical.
This weekend was interesting. Jeff and
bakasaru_chan came by twice for family film night wherein we meet with mom and dad to see a movie.

I'm thinking of making a char named Sylvia Surefoot actually, but now that I'm looking at it typed out it kinda looks silly. Still trying to get "foot" into the last name though! I'm looking forward to hanging out over there on Friday though playing DnD. Damn I haven't played in such a long time I hope I remember how. xD
Yea the more I think about the Happening, the more I like it actually. I loved the way it opened with the wtf moment to make everyone in the theater hush up. That was certainly a clever attention-grabber. I really thought the idea behind it could have been better planned out (esp. the honeybee references). I've actually done research on that stuff a bit, so the metaphor was very unclear to me.
As for the Hulk, I absolutely loved the acting in it. Liv Tyler was certainly an awesome Betty - that name just somehow suits her too for some reason. And Edward Norton was a freakin' depressed Hulk too. That part kind of took me off guard, but I still liked it. I'll admit that it wasn't quite as adrenaline-pumping as the Happening was, but it was still a lot of fun to watch. I'm just not into the bulky-muscle heroes I suppose. *shrug*
