As I said earlier, I took heaps of shadow pictures on my last holiday, many of which came out reasonably well. The only one which really disappointed me was the one below, which turned out to have been taken from the wrong angle, or possibly from the wrong distance -- something no amount of Photoshopping could do anything about. To my surprise, I hardly took any pictures of trees during my recent trip to Paris, Barcelona and Rome; I guess there weren't enough gum trees there for my taste. I couldn't resist this shot of a tree and a fence, though.

The pictures look very dark on my work monitor; I hope they're not too dark on your monitors.
