Yes, I am still here. But I have no E-mail, and don't really feel up to sitting at the computer much anyway. Therefore I am very quiet lately. Do not be alarmed. Yes, you will get your E-mails and suchlike, eventually. There may be a delay while I decide what features I need in a laptop, though. Suggestions for minimal and/or ultra-cool configurations will be entertained (with tea and cookies!), since try as I might, I cannot decipher the current crop of hardware acronyms.
