i stayed home again today. i have not gone to run the race for life. i took a nap. i have been drinking lots of fluids. i am still coughing, i am tired of sinuses stuffed full of cotton wool, and i don't like this heat anymore.

yes, i am intentionally typing in small caps. i feel small, at the moment.

Still sick - this cold is really kicking me. I pondered not coming in today, but no fever so I braved it. And no one else is in! *sigh* So much for my dedicated martyrdom. };)

Still feeling "delicate", but exhaustion has set in. And I did nothing but lie in bed when I came home tonight. *sigh* I'm beginning to think either I'm still fighting something off, or my immune system has been really weakened by whatever I had last week and I'm still recovering.

Bedtime for me, then. Here's to a brighter tomorrow.

Doc says I've got some kind of gastro-y thing, so I have anti-biotics and the right to stay home. \o/

Not that I really WANT to...which is odd. What an annoying thing to happen in my first week. *sigh* At least Dame M is wonderfully understanding.

I'm off to sit in the back garden in the sun with a book and lots of fluids.
