Hello, You Familiar Sight
I've been thinking about coming back to Livejournal for quite a while now.
Primarily because I'm starting to be very disdainful of Facebook.
1) It's silly reading about what folks are doing constantly when the truth is, I clearly have no interest in their lives. Well, most of them anyway.
2) The pettiness of friending and unfriending. I'll be completely honest--I get quite stumped and bashed when I add a real life friend and it's never acknowledged. I'd rather be ignored by the same person on the streets. Heh.
3) The status updates force me to be succinct or cryptic (since I can't refer to whatever I wish to talk about quite easily.) On Livejournal, however, a journal entry can never be too long.
4) And since everyone has flocked over, leaving Livejournal to be some quiet eerie sort of place, I kinda like it.
So hello Livejournal. It feels kinda nice to be back.
