my parents bought a 2nd house in Marco Island, FL. they are leaving a car down there at all times so all i have to do is buy air fare and i have a free vacation home. life is amazing.

i haven't written in my journal in a bit. gigantic things in my life lately. within a week i was promoted to management and got engaged. it's really nice to not have to worry about money however as a manager i miss recruiting and feel sometimes like an overpaid babysitter/client punching bag ( Read more... )

i went home to visit my family last weekend. it was a strange feeling. walking into what used to be my room and finding it completely empty and with a change of carpet, new paint. changed but the same. memories flood back while i am staring at something completely new. i went into the attic in search of furniture that i had left in my room.
