Target has reissued or gotten a shipment of Sweet 1600 dolls, so I took the opportunity to finally get a Draculaura...
But...
WHAT D:
What happened here? Did they try to remove a seam? On one leg only? An accident in production?
Then I noticed her eye makeup had some hair in it....
I was afraid to mess with those hairs for fear of messing up her eye paint. Then on further inspection of the close up photos, THE PAINT IS FULL OF HAIR AND TINSEL D:
Like, permanently embedded. I tried to move them or carefully pick them off, but they were probably in the way when the face was stamped on. There are other nitpicky things too: the weird, drippy fangs, black speckles in her lip (I was planning on repainting the mouth anyway), an unfortunate glitter booger. Everything else was OK. Just some jacked up face paint and the weird scrape.
I've already written Mattel and will likely end up with a replacement because that seems to be their answer. imokwiththis.jpg I just hope this one is painted better. Or not, whatevs. I can always just repaint her or slap one of the CAM tattoos on or somzing. I'm curious to take down the bouffant. :B *LOOKS UP REPAINTS*
