Leaving on a Jet Plane
In less than four hours I need to be out the door heading to my mom's as in approximately nine hours my first plane takes off for Nashville. I will have a very brief layover and then it's off to Fort Lauderdale. There I will check into a hotel over night and then tomorrow afternoon I jump over the puddle to Freeport on Grand Bahama Island for four days and three nights for my little half-brother's wedding. Then I jump back over the puddle, get my luggage, check back into another airline (Southwest does not fly to the Bahamas), fly to Tampa, pray I make my next flight (25 minute layover doesn't give much wiggle room) and fly back to Columbus. Depending on how tired I am, I may drive back Sunday night.
I have yet to start packing, which I really need to do. And do a final pick-up of the house. Get the mail stopped (I'll be here today when it comes).
All this means I'll have very limited Internet access during this time. In the off chance you need me, I thought you should know.
Also, if you'd like a postcard, let me know and don't assume I have your address just to be safe. I'll need to know this soon, like no later than tomorrow morning.
Right then, off to accomplish things. And keep praying as I'm terrified to fly over the water, even if it's a short flight.
