Notre Dame vs. FSU
Holy chit ... I don't know how many of you guys saw the game between these girls today but it was freaking IN-TENSE. Girls colliding, tripping, slipping, sliding, head butting ... Especially Notre Dame. Although they played a tab bit too roughly, it was still pretty awesome to see the sheer determination in their playing. (But, seriously - they got about 20 or so fouls in one game ... calm yourselves.) UCLA lost out to NC earlier today, which pissed me off, especially cause UCLA were continuing to play defensively in the second half when NC had two goals already ... Sense in that? Admittedly, I'm no sports expert but it would seem to me that when the other team has points and you don't, you might want to try and get some yourself. Just guessing.
So, I guess my hope now is that ND just completely crushes NC in the finals to make up for the loss today. Although I already have some residual loyalty towards ND because of Brady Quinn's hotness, which seems as good a reason as any to root for a team.
You guys, I swear ... ESPN is like the gateway drug to sports. I DID NOT NEED TO GAIN ANOTHER ADDICTION THE WEEKEND BEFORE I HAVE A PAPER DUE. Lame.
