Okay. Jeez.
I have my car back yesterday and I went grocery shopping so there is FINALLY something other than cabbage, butter, and mustard in my fridge. I get my skates back from my Norwegian skate maestro tomorrow and I'll also get paid at midnight. I'm seeing Prince of Persia on Friday. Today is busy here at work, but not unbearable. Shaky start, but I think I'm going to be able to turn this phase of the Life Olympics into at least a bronze medal performance.
I am, unfortunately, also enduring six-hour nights of sleep again but that's all my fault. I'm not having trouble falling asleep (THANK GOD) I just don't want to go to bed on time. Last night it was entirely the fault of my discovering Diam's.
Diam's (the apostrophe is not a typo) is a female French-language rap artist of French and Greek Cypriot origin known for her political activism. GUYS, HOW COULD THAT NOT BE AWESOME? (Spoilers: It can't). I've only listened to her 2006 album so far, but I'm looking for her 2009 and I'll report back.

If you're not completely charmed by her, you have to AT LEAST admit it's worth a giggle. (The "Votez!" made me laugh, I can't deny). And if you like that check out this song as well.
This also occurred yesterday. That's Lance Bass dressed and made up like some sort of wicked, Weimar Republic-Era, vampire. I have never regretted so deeply the death of pop fandom. I also need Johnny's MAC photoshoot to go public because Jesus Lord I'm going to lose my shit over it.
During the heady days of SPN fandom I forgot that I'm actually fascinated with men and make up. Also for a long time I felt my men-in-make-up options were limited to Emo Guyliner and RuPaul's Drag Race. I'm not knocking drag queens, but they're usually going for autre. And emo and I have a long and storied history of not being attracted to each other. Once I find better pics of Johnny in make-up, I'll do a picspam of Guys in Makeup that I have loved in my life. (Like David Bowie, the Hedwig and Maxwell Demon characters, the mess that is and was Lukas Rossi, and now Johnny.)
Actually, another question: does anyone in skating fandom know of a good gallery/image dump site for Johnny?
I've found some great tumblrs of course, but that's not really the same. ontd_skating is a clusterfuck of tags so if I have the badluck of forgetting to save an image, there's no going back to find it. I realized last night as I tried to get together pics for a pic-spam that for some reason I didn't save pictures of Johnny in make-up and there's pretty much nothing I can do about it to find alternatives. Basically, I'm looking for like screencaps, or something. Or at least a fansite with some options. I think this fandom has mostly been on forums though. Ugh. And sigh.
And lunch is over.
