So.
Not only did I burn the crusts of the pumpkin pies, I also forgot to put pumpkin pie spice in them.

So, they came out really bland. My brother threw his slice out.

I spent my afternoon baking pies. I forgot to cover the pumpkin pie crusts with foil, so the crusts burned, but the filling looks okay and that's what matters, right? The apple pie, by contrast, might be underdone. The crust seems a bit doughy. The no-bake cheesecake came out just fine. It's...it's hard to mess that up.

There aren't a lot of Thanksgiving Specials. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving airs every year and that's about it. When I was a wee lass, there was a special called The Berenstain Bears Meet Big Paw. Well, the apple pie is in the oven now. It's late since I had to do the pumpkin pies and have dinner...I forgot to make the coleslaw!!!!
Anyway, I've never made an apple pie before, so I'm a but worried about how if will come out :(

I have dessert detail for Thanksgiving. This is fine, I like baking. I mentioned that I was thinking of maybe trying my hand at making an apple pie, but I wasn't sure. Should've kept my mouth shut, because Mom told the rest of the family that I am definitely, absolutely 100% for certain making one.

So...anyone have a recipe for apple pie? XD

The Holiday was nice; after we ate, we all sat around and watched movies for hours. We watched A Very Brady Christmas, Home Alone and a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Mom and I are supposed to watch White Christmas tomorrow, but I think that's off. D:

But this cheers me up!

I just made dessert. I made a couple of pumpkin pies last night. I'm not great at regular cooking, but  I enjoy baking. (But the pies burned a little ;_;) One year, I made homemade cranberry sauce. That came out well.

We don't have anything really fancy, but it always taste good! :)
