If Had but a Week to Live
If I had but a week to live, I would live everyday like there will be no tomorrow.
If I had but a week to live, I would receive Christ as my Lord and Savior so I can have a definite assurance where I will be by the end of the week.
If I had but a week to live, I would be to pour out my life to people who I know would have more than a week to live, leaving a legacy for them to fulfill when I’m gone.
If I had but a week to live, I would maintain a good character so my tombstone would not be carved in marble and withered when forget-me-nots are forgotten but in people’s heart where it will stay with them till they face their own end.
If I had but a week to live, I would like to impact at least seven thousand people’s life before I die.
If I had but a week to live, I would let the people who I love know that I do sincerely love them and let them know that them being there in that last week of my life is the greatest thing that they could ever done for me.
If I had but a week to live, I would love to spend one day with the person who would miss me the most.
If I had but a week to live, I would write a book about how grateful I am to have the opportunity to live for that one week and hope that people would learn from it and appreciate their own life and time.
If I had but a week to live, I would love to wish to live for another week.
But when the end of the week comes, I would close my eyes gently; fly away to where I belong with gladness in my heart and peace in my soul because I know I had done what I need to do. No sorrow, no regrets.
Because I had live my week to the fullest.
