another young day was born when the sun trickled its golden fingers toward the horizon painting the dark sky unto a glowing yellow.. she rose up from her bed with no expectation for the day.. and she stretched and yawned like a flower blooming slowly.. stood up and slipped her most fuzzy bedroom slippers on.. bathing herself with luscious soaps and soaked herself with cold water.. her mind went through lots of school things as she packed her books with the towel wrapped around her wet hair.. she took her bags and walked out her front door..
without any realization that something big will happen.. that day, the world will turn around.. and she will be caught off guard on that autumn day..
the days went as boring as it is for her.. another test to complete, another two hours to spend on english, another speech to be spoken.. the same people with the same stupid problems.. the same people with the same teachings.. the same people with the same things to talk about.. she was so secure in her own little spot.. not having trouble with anyone.. everybody likes her, and she feels the same way too.. as the final class come to an end, she stood there letting another day slipped through her fingers..
she walked up toward her small compartment provided for her.. the light of her small, compact cell-phone filled the dark compartment.. another invitation to get some drink.. she took her phone and loitered around the hallway leading to the old beaten up elevator inside the old crooked building..
as she got to the placed set for the meeting, she entered the place and saw the host of the invitation.. she was a bit taken aback as she expected more people to come but no one but the host seemed to be around.. she was shocked to see the host's shocked face too.. but then she settled herself as he invited her to do so.. the host looked back for his bag and reached for something..
he took a red velvet box and went down on his knee.. her mouth opened in awe as he opened the box filled with a little necklace inside and stammering the words out from his mouth.. she knew well that he was nervous.. her brain wasn't percieving everything well either.. it was all a blur.. she felt his hand on hers.. and some other words came out from his mouth..
but before she could answer anything.. i woke up.
