Today was our biggest trading day in my company's history: over 45,000 orders placed. (Our previous record was about 39,000). Needless to say, working the phones was a bit of an adventure. Tomorrow likely will as well. On the plus side, it made the day go fast ( Read more... )

Earlier, I requested this whole week off from work. Intially, all I could get was Monday-Wednesday, so I scheduled my trip home accordingly. So as I might have mentioned earlier, I've finally been given the opportunity to work full-time at one of my jobs (the office job, not the deli job), after working there since April.
