Shhhh! Be wary wary quiet…I'm hunting empwoyment! Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh

The minivan is out of the shop. Got it back on Monday. Over $1,100! Geez. Which sharply presented the need for me to obtain some sort of regular income. So this week I've been pounding the pavement looking. Now to have the minivan during the day so I can go job-hunting, I have been driving Mom to work. And Jenny. Now I live in Euless and Jenny & Johnny are only about 10 minutes away. But where they work…! Mom's job is located at Spring Valley at 75, just north of the High Five in Dallas; Jenny's is near the George Bush Turnpike at 75 in Plano. And they both start early!!! I have to leave my home at 6:10 A. M. to get them to their respective jobs on time.

Now as many of you know, I am by no means a "morning person." The result? After I bring them both home, after I've eaten dinner, I've been nodding off on the couch, usually out for the night, often as early as about 6:00 P. M.

Long story short: This new schedule is screwin' with my sleep patterns! Ack!

But, you say, if it results in a job! In a paycheck! It's all worth it, right?

Oh sure. But thus far, I haven't even had so much as an interview.

Well, you ask, what are you looking for?

Given the current driving needs, ideally I'd like something to which I can walk. Or, if I can get this borrowed bicycle road-worthy, perhaps somewhere near enough to bike. Unfortunately, most of the businesses that are that close are not hiring. A couple are, so I have applied.

Fingers crossed.
