Beautiful, beautiful day today.
Been trying to think of things to do with Kasey. Just gets boring sitting around the house all the time.
*Yawn*
We like
feeding the ducks but the last couple of visits have been a bust. The ducks just haven't been as hungry as usual. Maybe they're on a diet with swimsuit season around the corner.
Anyway, the point I'm trying to get to is, on the way home from chorus this week I saw a sign for Kelsey Creek Park/Farm. Been a while since I've been there (hid a letterbox there once) and forgot all about it. But I can see were it could be fun and interactive for Kasey. PLUS it's close enough we can fit it in between naps (the big activity limiter right now). Definitely gonna have to check that out soon.
Work has been pretty good. Hours have been a bit scarce recently. But the hours I do catch the call volume has been pretty good, so that's nice. Apparently this is the slow season, I'm ok with that. I'm getting a pretty good handle on things now, and I'm working on getting my call length down to where it needs to be (this is my one hurdle right now). Looking forward to the busy season (fall/Christmas), extra cash around that time is always welcome.
Back to Kasey, he's toddling (independently) more and more each day. It's so exciting to watch. He favorite thing to do is practice walking around the house, holding onto Mommy's finger. This tends to wear Mommy out though. Whew!
Spent the last few days sorting out my magic cards and pulling out all the "rares". I came up with A LOT more then I thought I would. While I've only priced maybe a third, only a couple come up with interesting values ($20ish) the rest dance around the $1 mark. I was going to put them up on Ebay, but instead I think I'll just tuck them away and let them 'age' a bit more. At least I have them sorted out, and can let go of the rest.
Yay Tivo goodness. Got my Tivo hooked up to my wireless network today. Now I can update via broadband, instead of the phone. I can view photos and listen to music from my PC via the Tivo. Some other new 'network' features I'll play with soon. And I can copy shows to my PC and (theoretically) burn them to DvD. Hooray!
