I finally got my medals from Districts. They are hanging on the bulletin board in my room.

It was beautiful. I had two personal records:

Long Jump: 15'3.25"
Triple Jump: 31'7.5"

I am so content with that it's not even funny. Yeah, I'm not going to states, but I'm still really happy. I did so much better than I even thought to hope, especially considering how tired I was right before triple jump. Everything just clicked when I got on ( Read more... )

Yep :) District champion in long jump -- and a new personal record. I was so excited. I got third in triple jump, which is okay because I wasn't really into it. I'd like to start this entry by saying I extremely dislike people who come from New York and talk about how fast they are, only to show up with nothing and make excuses for letting down a team. I also dislike it when they don't come to practice the week before a District meet because they "don't feel well" when they have a relay to run. Fuck up ( Read more... )

Last Dickinson Meet.UUGGHH. I got sixth place in Long jump (not bad for 48 people) but I still wasn't too happy with it.
