Well, according to the schedule, today is the day that dmoira is supposed to fly in from New Hampshire. Naturally, of course, this is the time when the weather decides to majorly suck. Hee! They cancelled classes after all! ^_^V

So, work got closed down two hours early tonight due to a massive blizzard outside expected to continue into tomorrow morning. We're supposed to end up with at least 6 to 8 inches by morning, with wind chills at 20 to 30 BELOW zero. At this rate, especially with the windchills, there's a decent chance classes will be cancelled tomorrow.

It must be winter in Nebraska (even if Yule isn't for another week and a half... Criminy, that soon already?! Argh....), because yesterday was the first big snowstorm of the season. As in, I'd say we got about five or six inches of snow, nice big blizzard and all that. It made things interesting, considering my snow boots are at my folks' yet ( Read more... )
