Ah, it's great to live in a place where every door has a whiteboard. You see such interesting things. My RA's had a message that just seemed rather out-of-nowhere to me: Evidently after this semester she's leaving to become a nun. She's only a sophomore here at the university. Who knew?

So, there's a hole in my wall. They're putting new sinks in the floor bathroom, but my room is right beside the bathroom, and one wall is right behind the sinks. So, the maintenance people have been in and out of our room three times in the last week to work on it from both sides of the wall. I'm back to my beloved dorm. Here goes a new semester. We've got 5 classes (4 of them today) this time: Genetics, Fiction Writing, Classical Mythology, French and Anthropology, so it ought to be interesting. *crosses fingers*

And people wonder why I don't start my homework until after midnight! >_I require ABSOLUTE silence and a small, tight, familiar space to study, or else I can't concentrate properly. It only just began, and already I hate this week.

Today is the EVIL FRENCH day. As in, I TRIED to get my tape in so I could do my lab exercises, but was it ready? Of COURSE not! Which means that I can't do my oral lab. Which means I lose points. Once again, there is an insect infestation in my dorm. It's not moths this year, but some kind of gnat or fruit fly. Either way, it's irksome.
