Auja is going to celebrate her birthday next Saturday, so holding another party that day would be slightly ridiculous. Instead we could have a quiet, little party (with sleepover?) Friday night. This leaves the question open whose home we could invade for that purpose. Mine = not a chance
Unless someone comes up with a brilliant plan, I'll just have to forget about this party-thing for a few weeks, and save up my energy for Auja's birthday celebration.

On a different note; I converted Alda to Halla the Infrared's library. ´Tis a good library. Meget godt, ja.

Also, my university applications are almost done. The biggest task yet will be to finish the personal statement, which I found difficult in the beginning, but once I got going, I found that I had quite a lot to say.
Now I'm running into another problem. I have to take an English test to prove that I'm fluent enough to sit in a lecture taught in English. The thing is, that I have to pay for it with a credit card. Which I don't have. My mother has one, but I don't really want to ask her to pay for the test, since, as far as I recall, it's bloody, bloody expensive. Mum isn't too happy about me leaving, anyway (although I think she's getting used to the thought now), and I can just see her annoyed face when I ask her for money that will aide me in my quest of getting away from home as fast as I can. Of course, I'm going to pay her back, but still... I just don't want to ask her.
Maybe I should just use her credit card without asking... I think Kristján did that, once...
Or, I could ask a different relative who owns a credit card. That would be interesting.
"Could you lend me your credit card? I'm going to pay the money back."
"Don't your parents have one?"
"Well... yes. But I don't want to ask them."
"Why not?"
"Well... urp."

Ramble, ramble, ramble.
