Hee-ey, here they are, as promised (I think), some pictures of stuff I've been making. This lovely gem is for my 2D class and as the more astute of you will realise, is a color wheel. Made of pigeons! Hooray! Yeah, I know it's hard to tell but one of them is purple and one of them is "azure." And I don't care how many times or how many people tell it to me, but magenta plus orange does not equal red. That is just not true, it equals this weird orangey pink. So Many Lies!!
um, it's not that crazy/distored in real life, but it is charcoal
I can't remember if I've posted this one before, but if I did you've probably forgotten by now. It's a still life, if everything were reduced to flat planes oooOOOooooOOOohhh.
I drew this outside. It has horrible perspective (the bricks) but nice trees.
This is paper bags on a ladder, can you tell? We had to paint either with yellow or black depending on the color temperature (natural light v. lamp) as it hit the objects so that kind of made things not..look like...things. You can tell it's a ladder, I think.
This is what I'm working on now...another five hours to spend before it's complete.
And I'm not sure if this is of any interest but here's some lame photoboothings of me and Esteban on his weekend here. We're on Cassie's couch, as if that makes a difference.
Yeah.
