I'm going to put the finishing touches on my teapot-chair tomorrow morning then learn how to finish it up nice in the afternoon. After that, I need to find a fabric store or someplace that I where I can find a gigantic doily for the seat. No, you're not supposed to be able to sit on it.
Today went really fast, which is sort of incredible seeing as I have three whole classes to go to. I really need to do better in 2D. The assignments are so BORING, though, like I know how to make a color wheel and thank you, but I don't really care to "make a fitting example of how Figure-Ground Relationship." But I should care. I always do such a crap-ass job Sandra (my teacher) must think I'm a straight-up fool (and that everything I make has BAD CRAFTSMANSHIP). Luckily our next thing involves me painting a rainbow of pidgeons which I'm pretty excited about so it'll probably turn out at least moderately fine.
I'm going to post pictures of a fun-time photo shoot I took part in (modeling) last weekend. Um, we're just playing with colored plastic sheets that you're supposed to hang up over the lights. And we're playing on a wheel-around ladder. And we're playing with a wheelchair. Oh, and body bags = SACK RACE!
I don't feel like posting pictures right now.
I had my midterm review with my Drawing teacher. She was suprised that I wanted to be in Comic Art and said that instead I should be a painting major because I have "an expressive stroke" but my attempts at perspecitve are "very distracting." I am totally not looking forward to having to make a gigantic drawing using two, yes two, whole ball point pens. As in, I have to use them TOTALLY BOTH UP while making my drawing. That starts next Monday.
Cassie showed me a wicked little grocery a few blocks away (like three) and I got a cheaper/gummy rip-off of the old standard Lollipop Paint Shop. Remember those?
My lips are chapping like crazy. I can't put chapstick on at night, when I'm asleep so they crack up and get nasty. THIS HAPPENS EVERY NIGHT.
