whoops...got a cold again
Yep, got another cold. :( I think it's the moldy building the symphony plays in that I played with this past weekend. Good thing they're moving to their new hall next concert. Well, I could just be looking for excuses. But, still...this place is moldy and gross. And I spent a lot of time in there this weekend. :(
Other than the onset of this cold, things have been going pretty good. But, on Thursday night, I had a horrible pain in my abdomen. It was nearly cry-inducing, vomiting kind of pain. I decided to give the pain time to work itself out, and I'm glad I did. I actually was able to fall asleep and the pain was less in the morning. I have a history of appendicitis in my family, so that was one worry. But, the pain definitely didn't get any worse. So, I did some research with my husband and we discovered that it was probably the round ligament pain stuff. I'd never realized it could have hurt so much. It was OUCH. The next day, it was a dull ache more than a ouchy ouchy; it was noticeable, but manageable. But, the pain went away after another night's sleep. So, another learning experience...
My appetite and being able to eat everything in sight has gone down a bit. For a couple of weeks there, it was like I had an abyss in there. But, now it feels like everything's back to "normal." I definitely feel like I'm starting to show with a tiny baby bump. It's not real noticeable to others (I've gotten comments from children about how I don't look pregnant...so cute), but some moms are seeing it. I'm glad I told my students before the break.
I need to go shopping. My dress pants are pretty tight and I have a concert this weekend.
