FYI, folks reading this via LiveJournal x-post -- I can't get LJ to load in my browser with my privacy extensions turned on so I'm just not reading it at all anymore. Remarkably, the new apartment feels more familiar than I had worried about -- but I also tried to prepare myself pretty thoroughly, so I'll call that a Being Smart About Myself Win.
