It rained. Oh, how it rained. I may be dry, but the whole place smells of eau de wet dog now....

This is exactly why I prefer cats.

It tells me everything I know AND works as a dictionary. I wanted to find out what absolute pitch was called in English, so I typed the Swedish term into Swedish Wikipedia, then went for the article in English. Wikipedia rocks!

I'm terribly against throwing away books, even paperback ones. So, if I had 8 books by Winston Chruchill, printed 50 years ago, in great condition, that I felt I wanted rid of, I would not put them in the rubbish room, I'd take them to a 2nd hand book shop. Bloody landlords!
