I had my ultrasound this morning. It was an abdominal one (which meant no food after midnight) and a pelvic one (which meant a super full baldder). Neither of them were comfortable. When the tech was doing the upper abdominal it was beyond sore. I felt like crawling off the table. And if you've ever had a pelvic ultrasound done, having someone push hard on your very, very full bladder is not the best feeling in the world. They need to invent an ultrasound that they can use that doesn't involve having a full bladder.
Today was my day off and Gibbs and i laid around the house and played outside for a while. But honestly? It was too HOT to be outside for much longer than 5 minutes. Ithink it was about 29 degrees this afternoon. Judy and i were going to take the puppies to the park after lunch but neither of us wanted to take them out while it was so warm. I think that we're going to get them there on Thursday. Today is September 12 and here is today's joke:
Two young boys walked into a pharmacy one day, picked out a box of tampons and proceeded to the checkout counter.
The man at the counter asked the older boy, "Son, how old are you?"
"Eight," the boy replied.
The man continued, "Do you know what these are used for?"
The boy replied, "Not exactly, but they aren't for me. They're for him. He's my brother. He's four. We saw on TV that if you use these, you would be able to swim and ride a bike. Right now, he can't do either one"
see you tomorrow!
