bad joke of the day
So Gibbs went to the groomer's today and now he's naked. He's got a little bit of razor burn because the groomer had to get uber close to his skin because he had some mats from he swimming all the time. And even though we brush him every day, they were there (they were behind his one ear and under his one arm). The good thing is that he likes going to see the groomer. Our other dogs wouldn't get out of the car when we took them to the other groomer we used to use. And we had to carry them up the building.
I went to a used book store in Midland while the wonderdog was getting shaved and i got four books for $10. One of the books is this gorgeous hardcover book on the Civil War. I know that a lot of people have hobbies and they like learning about stuff, one of my things is the Civil War. I've been to Gettysberg a couple of times and there's something about walking streets where people have laid down their lives for something they believed in that gets to me. Anyway, this book has a lot of pictures from the actual war. And the list price inside the cover is $59.95. I got a good deal :)
