This week I've been working at a company translating bug reports. (Note: I am not actally TESTING for bugs; I simply need to translate everything so that the two teams in Japan and the US can communicate with each other, so it's fairly relaxed.) We normally get 15 bug reports a day. And then... there was today.

For better or worse, my life isn't very exciting right now. I'm doing the occasional translation or proofreading from my old company, but mainly I've been relaxing, cleaning, organizing, and gaming. WORK IS WEIRD. AND BY WEIRD I MEAN, OVER HALF THE COMPANY WAS JUST FIRED TODAY.

SO MY GRAND RETURN TO AMERICA PLAN HAS POSSIBLY BEEN PUSHED FORWARD BY HALF A YEAR. WE'LL SEE.

WE'RE ALL KINDA UPSET. SO, ER. YEAH.

I would just like to point out that one of my coworkers apparently feels that the office is too dry, which is why she decided to use a spray bottle to dampen all of the carpet around her. It's... slightly bizarre.

World Cup

Awww, Japan lost the match against Paraguay and will not be moving on the the Top 8. Too bad! But they lost in a PK shoot-off which is, as everyone knows, not "real" soccer, so they should still feel proud.
