Laytons and Weskers! Oh My! A Stuff Post
Since I received a new package of goodies yesterday I figured now was a good time to do a stuff post covering all most of the things I received the past couple months.
~ YESTERDAY ~
zillabean and I got some new Layton doujinshi! :D
The first one contained no Layton. :( It was primarilly about the children of Mist Hallery (or whatever Luke's hometown is called.) The next three are super adorable. And the last one is typical Reina stuff.

I apologize for the ass photo. I didn't have my camera at the time and used the computer's camera instead. u_u
These are the Winter Comiket doujinshi I got. They've all been scanned already and are slooowly being cleaned up. Sample images and info will eventually show up in my doujinshi journal.
~ MARCH 17? ~
I commissioned RandomlyGenerated from Etsy to make me a set of Layton peg people. (That Doctor Who set is seriously tempting...) The Laytons are ridiculously cute! <3 My photo is ass so go here to see some much better pics. 'Froshel was lacking a 'fro so I went to Michael's and bought a bag of pom-poms and attached one of them to him. Then I stuck a chick in it so he'd have a Chocofro. XD
~ MARCH 28 ~
My brother went to the 3DS launch event in Manhattan and grabbed tons of swag and gave me the extras. There's a hat, two bags, an XL t-shirt and a lanyard. (They're all for sale, btw.) He didn't buy a 3DS since he didn't have the money and we're waiting to see what happens with the region-lock while we save up. I'm tempted to just import the damn thing so I can play my Laytons. >:(
~ APRIL 2 ~
Sorry about the flash glare.
I got these after the concert. I didn't own these yet so I figured I'd grab them and save on shipping. More about the concert next week.
~ APRIL 4 ~
The Danny Elfman & Tim Burton 25th Anniversary Box!!!!
More about this and I'll start sharing goodies from it next weekend. :)
I was amused that my mom called me to let me know it arrived about 9 hours before I received the email that it was shipped, lol.
~ MARCH 11 & APRIL 8 ~
I trade doujinshi with shifting_stars (whom I recommend) every once in a while and above was a portion of what I received from the March trade. Catwoman issues #66, 71~76, 78~82 and Tenchi Universe 7 & 8. (Finally! I can finish watching Tenchi Universe!) I also received a Sherlock Hound doujinshi and a couple sheets of stationery. In the more recent trade I got a couple Sailor Moon doujinshi by HELLO WORLD, a Star Ocean 4, three Sonic the Hedgehog and some more stationery. I don't have a pic of the doujinshi and stationery because I've already scanned and put them away and I'm too lazy to pull them out again.
....And that's all I can remember receiving while I wasn't updating.
I started a two little indoor herb gardens recently because I don't feel like paying a couple dollars per herb every time I want to use fresh herbs. >:(
Everything has begun to sprout in the first one. :) I have basil, parsley, chives, cilantro and oregeno. The chives and cilantro and on the right. Oregeno and basil on the left and in the center is the parsley which is just beginning to pop out. I plan to paper mache the tray and made it pretty when I'm less lazy.
Here's the second one I just started on Sunday. As you can see nothing has sprouted yet but I will have lavender, thyme and some more oregeno.
And this is Mr. Aloe who used to belong to the previous roommate. Poor Mr. Aloe had been forgotten and neglected for a really long time. I gave him some soil and a new pot and he's been doing okay.
I'm leaving for Anime Boston later tonight. It seems I may not be able to get around to answering all my emails before I leave. I try though.
