There's a thicket of some strong-smelling herb a little ways away along the shoreline, set at the edge of the trees. It's leaves are pale green and fuzzy, its flowered tops pale purple.

There may be the occasional sound of frenzied movement coming from it.

And snickering.

And a mad, insistent purring.

Teja keeps playing one of Toki's songs from yesterday, even though he doesn't sing at the moment.

And keeps the tail-end of his gaze upon the bush from which those happy feline sounds are emerging.

Happy happy HAPPY feline sounds.

Rather furiously happy feline sounds.

From the rustling of the thicket of green plants, something is thrashing around in there. Someone.

And having a good time of it.

There are not enough yowls for that to be two cats mating, even though it would be the time of year for it.

Teja puts down his guitar and gets up to walk, bare feet on warm sand, towards the bush to investigate.

Sunscreen? Carlotta has never heard of the stuff! But the tree rustles.

Teja looks up, still playing.

Carlotta swings upside down so that he can't see up her skirt (making ladders in both her stockings as she does so). Not that she really cares, but something in her brain tells her that she ought to.

"Hallo."

"Carlotta!" Teja says. "You're in a tree!"
