Back to the Big S

Well, I went back to shreveport this weekend for the Better than Ezra concert at Centenary. It was really awesome. I am so proud of the Fighting Squirrels (if you don't know what I am talking about, fighting squirrels is the concert committee at centenary that I worked my ass off to get going for 2 years). This was their first really big show. We did Hal Sparks last year, which was sort of a trial run. It went really well, but wasn't huge. This was huge. The building was packed! From what I gather, there were some problems with the show, but from from where I was sitting it seemed like smooth sailing... My brother and his friends from Tech joined us. It was all in all great.

Saturday I studied most of the day unfortunately. I got to have lunch with Sarah and Laurie at Tacomania!! Saturday night Jake, Laurie and I (with an occasional few minutes of Sarah) went out to SaddleRidge on the boardwalk. It was pretty fun. I was a little tired and full because we ate a late dinner at Hong Kong City, so I didn't drink much and was bored by 1am. Oh well, maybe I am just a grandmaw now. Anyways, I am totally exhaused and have totally ruined my goal of loosing 5 lbs before the summer. I'll get back to the subway tomorrow because my uncle just came in with a bunch of yummie crawfish which I am going to devour as soon as I run my 4 miles today...
