I finished this episode in a daze, astounded that suddenly the show didn't suck again, went online, and immediately discovered why: Bryan Fuller is back.

The reaction on this one seems to have wavered between "Love!" and "Meh." I am firmly in "Love!" With one very notable exception.

I really get the feeling that with the end of last season, the fandom used the summer break to build up this fictitious version of Heroes in their head that was all rock all the time and so completely perfect and wonderful, flawless from the very get-go. You know, it just belatedly occurred to me that this show is probably the reason for my re-awakened interest in writing that House/Authority fic I got an idea for last summer.
