Sunday Afternoon, Dorms, Just Outside The Servants' Quarters.

Using a wide-brimmed, witch-like hat as a temporary fan, Evangeline sat on a spot on the grass outside the servants' quarters that were supposedly to serve as her new residence. She looked disgruntled, displeased, and much to warm for comfort as the floppy brim of her hat failed to keep her very cool. Surrounded by a few steamer trunks bigger

Walter came out of the Servants Quarters after leaving Vlad's for clean clothes and on his way to meet up with Pippi when he spotted the disgruntled girl and her things.

"Hello?"

Evangeline's hat stopped abruptly and she looked up toward the boy. She shifted a little under her skirt, spread out on the grass like a blanket. "Hello." She spent no trouble hiding the fact that she was looking him over, up and down, rather thoroughly.

Nothing particularly new about that. Walter was accustomed to attracting attention from his extremely shiny shoes to his pushing six and a half feet tall height and the formal waistcoat, tie, and trousers in between.

People got over it.

"Looks as though you're new. Do you have anyone to help you get your things in?"

Now that was more like it. Placing her hat firmly back on her head, Evangeline stood up, as straights as she could as if to make up for the significant difference in height, right now to an aristocratic lift of her chin. She smoothed out her skirt a little. "As a matter of fact," she said, her accent vaguely Irish, as though having gone through years of disuse, "I haven't. Are you offering your services? I'm to be in room five."

Seemingly Poorly guarded luggage would always attract Fujiko.

It was a bit like breathing.

She poked her head around the corner of the servant's quarter and waved when she spotted the newcomer.

Evangeline's head turned at the movement in the corner of her eye, noticing the girl and her waving. She blinked at her, pausing a moment in moving her hat to fan her, but then continued a second later. Her eyes danced quietly over Fujiko, sizing her up.

Fujiko was rather used to being sized up, so the other girl's scrutiny didn't phase her in the slightest.

"Just moving in?"

Evangeline sent a glance toward the steamer trunks, looking them up and down, too, before sighing, hat still fanning her face. "Eventually."

Pip was on a great Quest.

He had left his survival knife somewhere in the dorms and was valiantly trying to find it before someone went and cut themselves with it.

He nodded to the werevampire as he hopped up to the porch of the Servant's Quarters.

Evangeline inclined her chin at the tall redhead rather than return his nod, watching him carefully as he moved toward the building.

Pip stopped and looked around the porch. "Have you seen a survival knife about yay big," he said, motioning with his hands.

"No," the wee little vampire answered with a shake of her head, although now she planned that, if she did see it, she'd let him know, but with a price of some sort attached. Especially if it was a nice knife.

Harleen stepped out onto the porch of the servants quarters.

"Well, look at that. Kids."

Walter looked up from his negotiations with the pain in the ass mercenary and raised an eyebrow.

He hadn't seen her in the dorm before.

"Hello?"

"Hiya," Harleen said. "You one of mine?

"I don't think so." She looked a little old to be a student, but who was to say? "Are you a teacher?"

Nadia was out for a walk and noticed the new girl. "Um, hey. That's a lot of stuff."

"Hey you." Walter grinned over at her. "Pip and I are going to get it upstairs for her. If I can convince him to put his mercenary sensibilities aside."

Nadia grinned back. "That's very chivalrous of you. You should tell him that if he does very, very well, they might give him a tip, like a bellboy. And wouldn't he rather just be voluntary than a bellboy?"

"That's a good argument. I'll have to use that on him."
