Around Town, Late Sunday Night

It was quiet when Duo arrived in town. Late enough most people wouldn't just be wandering around town and that was exactly how he wanted it. How he felt comfortable. He wasn't sure why he was there, a small town that looked so...old fashioned. Nothing like he was used to. Almost like he'd fallen back through time. There wasn't even a Preventer

Danny was on his way back from one of the gas stations, soda and munchies in a bag. He was still convinced that Cam had fixed that damn coin toss, but wasn't sure how to prove it short of beating his friend up.

The new guy (and he had to be new, wandering around with that bag) looked a little lost, so Danny stopped.

"Hey, welcome to town."

Duo was not lost. He was surveying. Gathering intel. Not lost.

He slapped on a grin when someone approached him though. "Hey. Little late to be out shopping, isn't it?"

Danny smirks and holds up the bag. "It's never too late for a munchie run. I'm Danny."

What a nice, normal name! "Duo."

He made no move to shake the other boy's hand, like normal people did. That wasn't the way Duo rolled. He was too busy taking in the guy anyway, making snap decisions on what was safe and what wasn't. Danny looked a little older, but not much. A year, two at the most, and was scrawny enough to appear okay to be casual around, to be off his guard.

As long as he didn't turn out being built like Duo and the rest of the Gundam pilots, with more muscle on them than was normal, he seemed okay. And friendly, too!
