Okay... Now I know for sure where my sister gets her "skills" with electronics from. Mother had just heated some butter in microwave ... in metal can. Twice in 20 minutes, with said sister watching. Microwave somehow survived, there weren't any sparks or strange noises.

On Monday I saw that the mall where I go for lunch have started to put up New Year decorations. By today they are mostly done and are putting up their huge fur-tree on the square. Last year they have waited until November. I have to wonder if in 10 years or so they will be putting up those decorations in August ( Read more... )
